Not sure how you can do it with Microsoft Publisher, but most websites you can create what is called a .htaccess file. This file is read by the webserver and restricts (using login passwords) access.
For more information look here:

Also consider asking the company you host with how you can add a .htaccess protection. They should be very familiar with this as it is very common.
Question: Why does I.E. automatically redirects to “http://yahoofunny.vnn.bz/bots/pre.php” everytime I type in a website
I need to rid my computer of this pest. I’ve tried every adware/spyware and I’ve deleted every file I thought it might be, but internet explorer continues to redirect all the URL’s that I type into the browser to a “yahoofunny” website.

You need to download a spyware sweeper. There are many out there but I thoroughly recomment Ad-Bot.
Question: Why does a “.php” website ask to “Resend information” when I press the back button in my browser?
On my home computer using Apache2 and php5, when I put 127.0.0.1 in the browser, and I press the back button in my browser, there is no request to “Resend Information”. However when I load the .php scripts to an external server and use the site, then my browser asks to “Resend Information” when I want to go back to a .php page. What in the world is causing this? How can I change it so that it doesn’t ask to resend information?

If all pages (code) are identical on remote and local server than the behaviour will be identical too.
The page that you are trying to go “back” to on your remote server was using POST method to process some form/request, your local version may be using GET method.
Question: My website will only show my website with “.html” at the end of it?
how can i have my website show properly with only showing my domain name (ex www.mydomain.com/) only, instead of have a file name following.html after it (this is what is the only way it can be seen (www.mydomain.com/test1.html)). I am using NVU website editor which requires i have a filename and “.html” along with it. Do i need a new web editor that doesn’t requires it. help. thanks

If your pages are not on a web server they will require the full url to show. On a server with properly configured domain information a page will show if it is called index.html. Any other name requires the full path and filename.

seriously. “l” is the only difference. back in the day, like before windows xp, operarting systems would only recognize a file extension with only three alpha-numeric characters.
Source Files – www.developphp.com In this Flash ActionScript 3.0, PHP, and MySQL tutorial video and source file download you can learn how to build slick CMS(Content Management Systems) for your client websites or for projects that require many people to input data. A Content Management System made in Flash makes editing content easier visually and physically for the user or client you have created it for. This method uses one PHP control file, one MySQL database(with 2 tiny tables in it), and a flash application that is programmed intelligently enough to display dynamic content from a MySQL database, or any database type system. We also have tutorials that show how to use a flat text file as database, or an XML file as databse if your environment cannot run MySQL easily. Brought to you by FlashBuilding.com
