Question: Who am I and why am I “at large” running around “loose”?
Pardoning terrorists, discussing troop movements while being pleasured by an intern, running an obstruction-of-justice operation out of the Oval Office and suborning and committing perjury………

In acts of official perfidy that may be unparalleled in our nation’s history, Clinton accepted bribes from Red China in the form of illegal political contributions, and in exchange made policy decisions that undermined our national security.
• The Red Chinese military (the so-called People’s Liberation Army, or PLA) is now able to deploy much more accurate nuclear-armed missiles pointed at the United States, in large measure because of policy decisions by President Clinton
• President Clinton signed national security waivers to allow four U.S. commercial satellites to be launched in China, despite evidence that China was exporting nuclear and missile technology to Pakistan and Iran.

Question: For those who fret about “the ice melting”, could a volcano in Antartica cause some of that?

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/21/world/21volcano.html

“For Antarctica, “This is the first time we have seen a volcano beneath the ice sheet punch a hole through the ice sheet,” Dr. Vaughan said.”

Answer:

Answer by 4 Billion Crackers
A volcano could cause some of it, but don’t forget, it’s summer down there. That’s the real reason ice is melting. When it becomes winter down there, the ice will come back. The sun has an enormous impact on the earth’s climate, so much greater than humans. However, I think the real thing we should be worrying about is the FACT that the Earth is getting colder (sun spot activity has just about disappeared). Common sense would tell you we’re heading into another ice age. But there are so many people who have lost their common sense and have been brainwashed into thinking that humans actually have an impact on the earth’s climate. Get ready! An ice age will very likely be in our near future!

Question: How do I fix my HTML input bar that automatically skips a line?
Im using a Google search bar for my own website, and I put it in one div with some other text. There is no
in between, but the input bar is on the next line. How do I fix it? Here’s my code:

Recent News: put text here

Answer:

Answer by ☠ My Bud ☠
Bad coding. You have classes assigned and yet you are using attributes like “align=center” which is soooo noobish. Use CSS for all of it. Remove the space and the “/” symbol unless you are coding your page to XHTML, which I doubt seriously. Font tags are no longer used and are outdated. Might work, but not much longer when developers quit making browsers backwards compatible.

You have white space between your input tags because you put them on two lines. Many browsers parse this differently than other browsers. Use CSS to provide any spacing you need for the input tag.

Question: How can I delete “Norton System 2006″?
Please forgive my anger but I called “Verizon” because I could not open important forms in email advertisements with the extension “.html”, due to the fricken’ “Norton System 2006″. It would not allow me to change my “Windows XL” security allowing me to receive advertmts. I was told to call “Symantec Corp” (India)1-800-441-7234 for help. They were very polite on the phone, but due to Company regs. were SOBs in giving the direct email info to delete the system. I happened to get an X-rated advertisement, and beleive me I’m not interested! I did research and got the email address but find it hard to get in info I need! Please help me. Thank you.

Answer:

Answer by imnotlisa
Don’t just delete it! Uninstall it. Go to the control panel then add/remove programs.

After you uninstall it, take any disks for Norton Symantec anything and chuck them in the trash can!!!!!

Their Tech help sucks and WILL give you bad advice! They cost me almost $ 500 because of faulty technical advice which reformatted my hard drive!

Since the merger between Norton and Symantec – the program isn’t worth anything and I highly recommend to anyone using Norton to get rid of it!

Question: Tax Questions: what is “QUALIFIED SOLAR ELECTRIC PROPERTY” ?
hi all, I want to know what it mean by “QUALIFIED SOLAR ELECTRIC PROPERTY”
from Form 5695, it said “Qualified solar electric property costs. Qualified
solar electric property costs are costs for property that
uses solar energy to generate electricity for use in a
home located in the United States and used as your
home. This includes costs relating to a solar panel or
other property installed as a roof or a portion of a roof.
The home does not have to be your main home.”

what I am not sure is by “installed as a roof or a portion of a roof” If I buy a solar panel and installed in on top of my roof, would that be consider “installed a portion of a roof”
also

http://www.theorator.com/bills109/s3628.html

“`(2) QUALIFIED SOLAR ELECTRIC PROPERTY- The term `qualified solar electric property’ means solar electric property (as defined in section 179F(c)(2)(B)) installed on or in connection with a dwelling unit located in the US”
what is “179F(c)(2)(B)”,where can I find more on it?

Answer:

Answer by AngeloElectro
If you look in the link you posted, and scroll down, IRC Title 26, Section 179F(c)(2)(B):
~~~(B) SOLAR ELECTRIC PROPERTY- The term `solar electric property’ means property which uses solar energy to generate electricity.~~~
Qualified solar electric property includes a solar panel installed on the roof, but it also includes other equipment not installed on the roof, also any wiring, piping, etc. associated with installation. It must be properly installed with all necessary permits, and according to local fire and building codes.
Solar electric property is “qualified” if it is for use in a home located in the US that you own and live in at least part of the year.
Form 5695 is filed to claim the Non Business Energy Credit. In 2006, you were allowed a credit of 30% of your solar electric property costs, up to $ 2000 for qualified solar electric property, and up to $ 2000 for costs related to solar electric water heating, and a credit towards a fuel cell if you have one.
If the solar panel is permanently installed on your roof, it becomes a fixture, and part of your basis for the house. You must reduce the basis of your house by the amount of the credit claimed. When you sell your property, since your basis is higher, any taxable gain will be less.
See page 3 & 4, IRS Pub 553 for more information:
http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p553.pdf
If your home is used for business, or you have a home office, then you are allowed to deduct depreciation on that percentage of business use. The solar panels and equipment increase the basis of your home and can be included in your depreciation calculations.
There are also other credits and deductions related to using solar electricity in business property.
Legislation is in place to extend energy efficient credits to renters, and others who don’t own the property where they live.
You should also check your state income tax code for solar energy credits and deductions allowed on your state return.
Question: Do Christians count the “In God we trust” decision as a victory?
http://www.kval.com/news/national/87396447.html
“In a separate 3-0 ruling Thursday, the appeals court upheld the inscription of the national motto “In God We Trust” on coins and currency, saying that the phrase is CEREMONIAL AND PATRIOTIC, NOT RELIGIOUS.”
I’m thinking that this is actually a victory for secular humanism everywhere. The only way the statement is allowed to stay is if its religious significance is removed.
Question: Fellow Ron Paul Supporters: Should we thank the “top tier candidates” for self-destructing this week?
http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/015699.html
“The three leading Democrats stumbled through an answer to a question about whether they would end the war in four years! No! A rare moment of candor.
Then the four Republicans ahead of Ron in the 20th Century polls, decided to give blacks a finger in the eye by failing to show up last night.”
Should we thank these so-called “top-tier” candidates for making our job much easier? We’re at the point where Ron Paul is clearly the only anti-war candidate and is fast becoming the only serious candidate for president. Can we look forward to 8 years of President Paul and the return of the Constitution?
Answer:
Answer by amnesty sucks
WOULD YOU GET A LIFE AND LOOK AT THE FACTS! Geeze! You may love Ron Paul and think he will get the nomination so that he can “beat Hillary” but you are so delusional!
Paul has about 1% of the vote. It doesn’t matter that he has a growing number of vonunteers or an increase in contributions. That has not helped his approval rating with voters at all!
Paul is at the botton and never will be a “top-tier” candidate. HE IS NOT A SERIOUS CANDIDATE!!!! SORRY BUT HE’S A JOKE! PAUL WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT!
Where do you come up with these ridiculous statements!? Stop insulting our intellegence!
